Badger Tree has a known issue. Message boards demonstarte funds, NFTs, token being accidentially sent to Badger tree from various sources from Metamask etc.
Badger helpdesk states there currently is no bandwidth to help Badger Community members, instead they put the topic on a future wish list and suggest users pay a fee to help motivate bandwidth for a clear issue with the Badger Tree.
I would suggest there is work to be done and the reply is not helpful rather it misses the point. Badger tree has a serious issue in recovering funds.

Sending funds to the wrong address is a user error and recovery requires time and funding. Badger has a roadmap that takes priority.
Users are welcome to propose self-funding recovery efforts and this is something that could be potentially handled via the āGrantsā program so that it doesnāt impact existing roadmap priorities.
Discord is a good place to have those discussions, Iād suggest posting a proposal.
Letās put this into context. There are easy to find threads were Users complaints on having very similar issue on Badger tree have reached out to the Helpdesk and received help and recovery. Badger community is therefor aware of an issue that impacts users. One reply is that Badger tree does not allow recovery, which is paradoxical to previous statements from Users. These same Users suggest contacting the Helpdesk. This āmistakeā appears to occur often and from various sources, i.e. various wallets, Metamask etc. Solutions offered have varied from contacting Metsmask, Lido, Opensea etc. However, all these teams point back to the address on Badger tree. One questions left unanswered is given the various users, why and how is Badger tree the destination when equally these Users are attempting to send / transfer etc stETH back into ETH. Staking on Lido involves NFTs. The process of unstaking gets complex as NFTs are on various Wallets. Lido, Metamask, Openea are all aware of the Badger tree issue. If the Badger Roadmap is to be successful, then Use, Users must have confidence. It is reasonable to state at this time it is best to avoid staking ETH on anything other than, my opinion Ledger as there solution avoids known issues. This implies not taking additional risks of Badger, Lido, Metamask etc. Larger if Digital Assets / Crypto is to grow the customer users base, interfaces must account for this growth. On this note, in 2022 we helped various Users recover $1.5M in recoverable digital assets. Each of these efforts took contacting the specific community. What we did not encounter is Badger answer of Roadmap, unrecoverable, User error, rather we got coopertion, answers and successful recovery. One quote, recoverability is a Ledger priority with which they are working with many teams.
IS there anyone within the Badger community willing to assist retrieve stETH on the Badger tree?
