Hypothetical scenario:

  1. shut discord down to make people uneasy and inviting them to rebel against the core team
  2. core team leaves the DAO
  3. new bull market begins
  4. core team launches ebtc protocol
  5. print a new utility token for ebtc forming a new DAO

Wouldn’t be a first in crypto

The team do not own the e-btc protocol, the DAO does. They cannot do this legally.
