Badger Reward Distribution

There seems to be some confusion, partly due to the wording on vfat.tools, as to how the Badger rewards from staked crvBTC pools are treated. Are the rewards immediately available to claim, or are 50% reinvested back into the underlying LP shares of the staked Sett?
